What Is Star Wars Celebration?

Star Wars Celebrations bring fans of all ages together, from all points of the globe, to celebrate the pop-culture phenomenon that is Star Wars. Whether it's young fans of Star Wars: The Clone Wars or die-hards fueled by the nostalgia for the original Star Wars trilogy; curious, casual followers; gamers, readers, costumers or collectors — there's something for everyone at Celebration.

It's three fun-filled days of exhibits, a vibrant, interactive show floor, screenings, exclusive merchandise, celebrity guests, panels, autograph sessions, fan-inspired activities, and other surprises celebrating all things Star Wars. Star Wars Celebrations deliver a landmark experience where memories are made, families brought together, old friends reunited, and new friendships formed — all in the setting of the ever-evolving Star Wars universe.

Note that Star Wars Celebration Europe's Exhibition Hall closes nightly at 7 PM (and 5 PM on Sunday), but select panels, screenings, and special events could continue until 10 PM or later.

Where Is Star Wars Celebration Europe?

Like the Rebel Alliance, Star Wars Celebration doesn't have a permanent home. Instead, it travels around the world to avoid Imperial detection — and to bring Star Wars to as many fans as possible.

Who's The Organizer?

All Star Wars Celebrations are produced in partnership with and under the authorization of Lucasfilm Ltd. Beginning with Star Wars Celebration V, Star Wars Celebrations have been produced by Lucasfilm in cooperation with the ReedPOP group within Reed Exhibitions, the world's largest event organizer. ReedPOP also runs the New York Comic Con, C2E2: Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, and PAX Video Game Festivals.

Who Needs A Ticket?

All attendees six-years-old and up need a ticket to enter Star Wars Celebration Europe. Please note, Star Wars Celebration Europe recommends all children under 18 attend with an adult, and all children under 13 must be accompanied by a grown up. Who Are The Guests?

Star Wars Celebrations have previously featured guests from all six Star Wars movies, The Clone Wars television series, the Star Wars Expanded Universe, and from across popular culture. Guests for Star Wars Celebration Europe will be appearing on our Guest page. Please check it regularly for updates.

What Kind Of Events Can I Expect?

Costuming workshops, celebrity appearances, academic discussions, behind-the-scenes insights, fan films, and sneak peeks at the future of Star Wars are all elements of Celebration Europe. Star Wars Celebration Europe's panels, screenings, and special events will show off the passion of some of the saga's most dedicated fans and professionals. We try to release programming information as early as we can, with the full schedule being published in the final month to the event.

Can I Take Pictures?

For the most part, you're welcome to take still pictures and video at Star Wars Celebration Europe; however, please note that all audio and visual recording is prohibited during screenings, concerts, and during many live stage shows. Also, please understand that guests may or may not pose for photographs with fans. Guests have a right to their privacy, and if they ask not to have their picture taken, please respect their wishes.

Will I Be On Camera?

Star Wars Celebration Europe attracts local, national, and international press. By attending Star Wars Celebration Europe, you give your consent to be photographed and appear on camera. You could end up on starwars.com, in the pages of Der Spiegel, or even the evening news on Coruscant.

Will Guests Sign Autographs?

Yes, autographing is a big part of Star Wars Celebration Europe! Please review our Autographing page for more details. Please understand that autographing prices, times, and availability will be different for each guest.

Can I Bring A Blaster? Can I Buy A Blaster?

For the safety of all convention attendees, volunteers, guests, and staff, there are restrictions on what can be bought, sold, and brought into Star Wars Celebration Europe. Failure to follow this policy may result in your removal from the convention without refund. Please review our the weapons policy before attending.
