Media Registration

Star Wars Celebration Europe welcomes members of the media from around the world, and is happy to provide approved media members attending with a complimentary Media Pass. Please understand that:

• Your Media Pass allows access as long as space is permitting.
• Your Media Pass does not allow early access, special access, or guaranteed seating.
• Your Media Pass does not allow you to cut lines.
• Your Media Pass will not allow access into any events requiring an additional ticket beyond an attendee pass. Should you wish access to a special, ticketed event, you must first have your Media Pass application approved, and you must then request access for specific ticketed events directly with Celebration's Media Office.

Complimentary Media Passes are extended as a courtesy of Star Wars Celebration Europe. Each is issued individually and non-transferable. You may not transfer or sell your Media Pass, and any individuals conducting such behavior will be disqualified from Media Passes at future Celebration events.

Star Wars Celebration Europe Media Registration is open for journalists regularly making editorial contributions (Editorial Press) only. Editorial Press includes Writers, Reporters, Reviewers, Producers, Photographers, Cameramen, etc. who are attending specifically to write about the show and/or cover the event for newspapers, magazines, TV, podcasts, radio, etc. Non-Editorial personnel at media companies such as Graphic Designers, Marketing, Public Relations, and Sales staff do not qualify for Media Passes and should purchase an attendee pass. Non-Editorial applications for Media Passes will not be approved.

Your approval for a Media Pass at previous editions of Star Wars Celebration does not guarantee you a Media Pass for Star Wars Celebration Europe. You must complete the entire Media Pass application whether you have been approved previously or not.

Media Passes are limited in nature and will be issued only to adults. Badges will not be issued to children, family, or guests. Star Wars Celebration reserves the right to approve or deny any application and limit the number of Media Passes provided to any organization. Decisions are final and cannot be appealed.

Application Process:

After reading this page, please click through to the online form which follows. Complete this form in its entirety and submit it to Star Wars Celebration Europe. Complete this form in its entirety in English. After Celebration receives your online application, our Media Office will review your form and respond within the dates listed below. Please understand that simply submitting this form does not guarantee you a Media Pass. It is only after this full form is received, reviewed, and approved that a Media Pass will be issued. Incomplete applications will not be approved.

Online Media Registration will close at 11:59 PM NYC Time on June 30. Applications will be reviewed in six blocks, with acceptance status emails sent out in seven blocks as well. Should you not receive an email with the status of your application by the appropriate date listed here, contact Celebration's Media Office. We encourage media to apply early.

If you wish to apply for a Media Pass after June 30, you must apply onsite at Star Wars Celebration Europe. Please bring with you a business card, photo identification, and coverage samples.

Application Recommendations:

Answer every question as truthfully and completely as you can. There are limited Media Passes available, which will be distributed across print, radio, television, and websites, blogs, and podcasts. Provide as much and as detailed information as you can. Incomplete and vague applications will not be approved.

Decisions Are Final:

Star Wars Celebration Europe reserves the right to approve or deny any application. This decision is final and cannot be appealed. Include any and all information in your application that will allow the Celebration Media Office to make an informed decision, as you will not be able to submit further information later on if your application is not approved.

Multiple Passes:

If you intend to come to Celebration with a crew (photographer, cameramen, etc.), each member of this crew must complete an application. Star Wars Celebration reserves the right to limit the number of Media Passes provided to any organization
